Do Computer Backups Today

I highly recommend everyone back up their computer data 'yesterday'. Just had another motherboard crash on me. While it's not that big of a deal - I did lose some good porn, a few mp3s, pictures, and new websites I was working on. I highly suggest an external hard drive solution, other options are online backup storage, and storing data onto DVD discs. Don't say I didn't warn you.

cheesy post

saw this on another blog or myspace, i really can't remember. but it's cheesy.

I'm sorry
that i bought you roses
to tell you that i like you

I'm sorry
That I was raised with respect
not to sleep with you when you were drunk

I'm sorry
That my body's not ripped enough to "satisfy" your wants

I'm sorry
that I open your car door, and pull out your chair like I was raised

I'm sorry
That I'm not cute enough
to be "your guy"

I'm sorry
That I am actually nice;
not a jerk

I'm sorry
I don't have a huge bank account
to buy you expensive things

I'm sorry
I like to spend quality nights at home
cuddling with you, instead of at a club

I'm sorry
I would rather make love to you then just screw you like some random guy.

I'm sorry
That I am always the one you need to talk to, but never good enough to date

I'm sorry
That I always held your hair back when you threw up,and didn't get mad at you for puking in my car,
but when we went out you went home with another guy

I'm sorry
That I am there to pick you up at 4am when your new man hit you and dropped you off in the middle of nowhere, but not good enough to listen to me when I need a friend

I'm sorry
If I start not being there, and being used as a door mat, only to be thrown to the side when the new jerk comes around
I'm sorry
If I don't answer my phone anymore when you call, to listen to you cry for hours, instead of getting a couple hours of sleep before work

I'm sorry that you can't realize.. I've been the one all along.

I'm sorry
If you read this and know somebody like this but don't care

But most of all

I'm sorry
For not being sorry anymore

I'm sorry
That you can't accept me for who I am

I'm sorry
I can never do anything right, and nothing that I do is good
enough to make it in your world.

I'm sorry
I caught your bf with another girl and told you about it, I thought that was what friends were for...

I'm sorry
That I told you I loved you and actually meant it.

I'm sorry
That I talked to you for nine hours on Thanksgiving when your bf was threatening you instead of spending time with my family.

I'm Sorry
That i cared

I'm sorry
that I listen to you at night talking about how you wish you could have done something different.

Ladies always complain and gripe to their friends that there is never any good guys out there, and they always end up with assholes who mistreat them. Well ladies next time you're complaining, maybe look up to see who you're complaining to, maybe that special someone is right there hanging on your every word as usual, screaming in his head "Why won't you give me a chance?"
Because the person you are usually searching for is right by you.

Whole Foods-The Whole Truth

Taken from Money Magazine:

Whole Foods, the nation's popular and fast-growing chain of "healthy" supermarkets, makes you feel good about groceries the moment you enter.

Its mountains of lustrous produce, farmer's-market ambience and declared mission to provide you with the freshest natural and organic products make it seem as though you're doing a good deed for yourself and the environment.

But not everything at Whole Foods is all that wholesome. And buying there could cost you a lot more than at other supermarkets - which is why some dub the store "Whole Paycheck."

Produce has a carbon footprint
Sad to say, you probably won't help the environment that much by shopping at Whole Foods.

Many contend that the real damage done to the earth by fruits and veggies is not how they are grown but how much fuel has to be burned to get them to you. After all, those organic strawberries didn't walk from Mexico.

Whole Foods offers only a limited supply of local produce. Even in summer months, no more than 30 percent of the produce in the average Whole Foods store is grown locally - but it is clearly labeled.

On one visit, just the veggies above were local. In early spring, only rhubarb was available.

It's still junk food
Whole Foods doesn't carry any food containing transfats or artificial coloring. But that's the extent of its nutritional screening.

Just because you are in a Whole Foods, don't think that everything you see on the shelves is healthful.

Whole Foods Golden Rounds crackers, for instance, have slightly more calories and fat per serving than the Ritz crackers they imitate.

Of course, if Whole Foods didn't stock at least some junk food, you'd have to make a stop at another store - burning more gas to get your chips.

Not everything has to be organic
Whole Foods is famous for offering a wide variety of organic fruits and vegetables. But organic produce, which is grown without pesticides, costs 20 percent more on average than the store's conventionally grown produce.

According to the nonprofit Environmental Working Group, soft-skinned fruits and veggies, like peaches, apples and bell peppers, retain the most amount of pesticides. So buying organic versions makes sense.

Onions, avocados and corn are practically pesticide-free whether they are organically grown or not.

Foodnews.org, the research group's website, lists conventionally grown fruits and vegetables by pesticide content.

The values are relative
To combat its reputation for priciness, the chain recently started tagging good values.

And yes, you can get chicken breasts and organic milk at competitive prices ($4.50 a pound and $5 a gallon), and find a bargain on bulk dried cereal.

Also, products carrying the "365" label, the store's in-house brand, are generally good deals compared with other options on the shelf (though not with store brands at other supermarkets).

However, you will pay plenty for stuff you won't find elsewhere - heirloom arugula, Icelandic low-fat yogurt and organic frozen chicken potpies.

But aren't those the exotic items you really came for?

No calorie counting here
With traditional grocery stores now stocking the organic brands that originally drew shoppers to Whole Foods, the chain is adding to its offerings of in-store prepared foods.

The store diligently lists the ingredients that go into its meat loaf and macaroni and cheese, but it doesn't provide nutritional information on any of its in-store prepared foods.

So while that vegan oatmeal scone tastes delicious and sounds healthy, you have no way of knowing whether it is better for you than the scallion cheddar one sitting next to it - or, for that matter, the cheese Danish from Dunkin' Donuts down the street.

Don't get taken to the cleaners
In its "Whole Body" department, Whole Foods offers a variety of "organic" soaps and health supplements. But there is no recognized "organic" standard in the personal-care industry.

Ditto for household items such as dishwashing detergent. The largest component in most cleaners - organic or not - is water.

The "green" soaps and detergents may be less harmful to the environment (because they have no phosphates), but they don't necessarily remove the dirt any better than Tide or Cascade.

Bush Sends Troops To West Nile

Bush Sends Troops To West Nile

WASHINGTON, DC-Vowing to "exact justice for the taking of innocent American lives," a determined and defiant President Bush deployed more than 14,000 ground troops to the West Nile Monday.

New ESPN Programming

Shamelessly stolen from the onion.

ESPN Courts Female Viewers With World's Emotionally Strongest Man Competition

BRISTOL, CT—Sports broadcasting giant ESPN, whose programming has long been a staple among male television viewers of all ages, made its first foray into women's sports programming with the introduction of the World's Emotionally Strongest Man Competition Monday.

The hour-long weekly show, which will run opposite ABC's Monday Night Football, features an international cast of powerfully caring, emotionally resilient, deeply sensitive men pushing themselves and each other to the limit with astounding feats of inner strength in domestic settings around the country.

During the show's premiere, a two-hour special titled "Manhattan Blowout," competitors put their bodies, minds, and spirits to the test in events ranging from the brutal grind of "Enduring Quietly As She Takes Her Hard Day At Work Out On You," to the agility-straining "Throwing A Last-Minute Surprise Party For A Despised Mother-In-Law," to the ultimate combination of strength and finesse, "Helping Her Over The Death Of The Cat That Always Hated You."

"We've always been interested in expanding our brand to involve fans of every possible stripe," said ESPN president George Bodenheimer at the gala WESMC premiere party at the ESPN Zone restaurant in Times Square Monday. "When we looked at our viewers, it was immediately apparent that—figure skating, cheerleading, and gymnastics aside—women were the largest single group we were missing. This new show was designed from the ground up to give them the kind of deep, meaningful competitive experience they don't get from normal sports-entertainment shows."

Over 13 million viewers tuned in for the premiere, which saw Manhattan photographer Barry Peters pull to a strong early lead in overall points with his artful, complaint-free performance in the "Synchronized Cooking And Consolation" event, during which Peters prepared a near-flawless zucchini-pepper ratatouille while effortlessly lifting the spirits of his partner, the challenging and highly unpredictable Christy Ericsson, by convincing her that she was in fact better off without that long-anticipated promotion.

Other strong overall performances were turned in by Martin "There, There" Richards, a graphic designer who remembered to make his wife's beloved tapioca pudding on the anniversary—not of their marriage—but of their first date; Garth "The Embrace" Josephsen, who maintained some form of reassuring but undemanding physical contact with his fiancĂ©e for nine consecutive hours; and Ben "Soulmate" Siegel, who made his girlfriend laugh despite her belief that minor weight gain and childlessness were ruining her life.

"It was perfect, honestly," said tear-prone football coach and WESMC host Dick Vermeil, who taped the show's 13 episodes earlier this summer so that he would be free to lead the Kansas City Chiefs without any heart-rending distractions. "We couldn't have asked for a better debut. Even the guys who didn't do as well as they wanted did their honest best, and we had no breakups or severely hurt feelings, despite some relatively large missteps."

According to Vermeil, one competitor, Patrick "Gusher" Johnson, overcorrected a brief moment of thoughtlessness with a hasty and inappropriate marriage proposal, straining his trust almost to the breaking point. He also noted that "Magnanimous" Ver Magnusson, the lone Icelandic entrant, may have tripped himself up with his longtime companion Marta by compensating for his terse nature with an "almost creepy" overabundance of expensive gifts.

Early reviews of the show have been overwhelmingly positive, with the target audience responding precisely as ESPN had hoped.

"WESMC is exactly the kind of thing I've always wanted in a competitive event," said viewer Emma Michaels, who posted her approval on the show's web site. "The way these talented emotional athletes can be so strong for others, bearing up under the crushing weight of sadness, shouldering the burdens of a fully mature relationship, never taking the cop-out of ‘letting a woman down easy,' and never cheating… This is the way these games are meant to be played."

Slave to the Grind

Slave to the Grind - Skid Row
(i feel like this every time my alarm clock goes off)

You got me forced to crack
my lids in two
I'm still stuck inside this rubber room
I gotta punch the clock that
leads the blind
I'm just another gear in the assembly
line - oh no

The noose gets tighter around my throat
But I ain't at the end of my rope 'cause
I won't be the one left behind
Can't be king of the world
If you're slave to the grind
Tear down the rat racial slime
Can't be king of the world
If you're slave to the grind

Get it?

A routine injection, a lethal dose
But my day in the sun ain't even close
There's no need to waste
your prayers on me
You better mark my words
'cause I'm history
Yes indeed

You might beg for mercy to get by
But I'd rather tear this thorn from my side

I won't be the one left behind
You can't be king of the world
If you're slave to the grind
Tear down the rat racial slime
Can't be king of the world
If you're slave to the grind

They swallowed thier daggers by turning their trick
They tore my intentions apart brick by brick
I'm sick of the jive
You talk verbal insecticide

I won't be the one left behind

You can't be king of the world
If you're slave to the grind
Tear down the rat racial slime
You can't be king of the world
If you're slave to the grind

Pirates of the Carribean

Got rained out at Reggaefest, so the cute girl I was with went to see Pirates of the Carribean 3. Not sure if it was me, but the movie totally sucked. I loved the first one - it was fresh new and different, don't remember watching the second one. And this one totally was not worth watching. I have no more faith in sequels - I haven't seen Spiderman 3, not really looking forward to Die Hard 4 (it's PG-13 btw). So I would avoid it if at all possible.
I'm not sure if Johnny Depp was even acting - looked like he was calling it in. I also couldn't get my brain to recognize the plot. I've got a bunch of spoilers and questions, but I refrain from asking.

several hounds showed up to run who the fuck r u and pearl necklace's trail - heartache, hooter, nice juggs, puke, and tiny bubbles all ran trail. roll model, bare ass burns did not run. trail had everything - water crossings, shiggy, scenic ocean views, pavement, and free beer at the end. beer was provided by lone pint brewery - pearl necklace's brewery. very yummy beer - i think they have free tastings every saturday.

Since I'm in an American Pie Mood

This one's for PImp Doggie Dawg

Mathematical Pi - mp3 file
Mathematical Pi - the video

3.141592653589793238462643383279502884197169399375105820974944592307816
(or Mathematical Pi to the tune of 'American Pie')

by
Ken Ferrier and Antoni Chan

INTRO:

A long, long time ago
Long before the Super Bowl and things like lemonade
The Hellenic Republic was full of smarts
And a question resting on the Grecian hearts
Was "What is the circumference of a circle?"
But they were set on rational numbers
And it ranks among their biggest blunders

They worked on it for years
And confirmed one of their biggest fears
I can't be certain if they cried when irrationality was realized
But something deep within them died
the day they discovered pi.

They were thinking

CHORUS:
Pi, pi, mathematical pi
3 point 14 15 92
65 35 89 7
932384 62
6433832 7 (not rounded)

VERSE:
Well this kind of pie is different than most
It hasn't got berries, ain't spread on toast
And that's how it's always been
We keep extending its decimal places
Pushing our computers through their paces
But we'll never reach the end

So why the fascination with
A number whose end is just a myth
Whence the adulation
For mental masturbation
It might have something to do with the stars
To calculate distances from afar
But that's just a guess 'bout the way things are
Regarding the precision of pi

I am pondering

CHORUS:

VERSE:
Now I feel that I should mention
Pi is applicable in any dimension
At least as far as I know
If there were no Pi we'd be missing things
Like marbles and mugs and balls of string
And sports such as soccer and curling
The orbs in their celestial paths
Navigate along elliptical graphs

Ellipses have pi in them too
Just one side of them has grew
You can see pi in most everything
It's in Cornell's Electron Storage Ring
And also in slinkies and other springs
And that's why it's important to know pi

You should memorize

CHORUS:

OUTRO:
Once one night I had a dream
That pi was gone and I had to scream
Cause all pi things had disappeared (pause)

Can you imagine a world like that
Circles aren't round and spheres are flat
It's the culmination of everything we've feared

'Twas a nightmare of epic proportions
One that gave me brain contortions
Oh wait! I mean contusions
They put me in some institutions
But then I escaped and now I'm free
To sing of the virtue of pi

CHORUS:

Quote to live life

One of the best quotes I've heard in a long time. Truly the way one should live life.

"We must become the change we want to see." -Ghandi

Don McLean's American Pie

The topic of the meaning to Don McLean's American Pie came up last night at the on-on-on. The wikipedia entry is below. At one time I actually knew what each lyric was supposed to refer. But my memory has faded fast.
The short version is this:
Recorded in 1971 and released that year on the album of the same name, the single was a number-one U.S. hit for four weeks in 1972. The song is an allusive history of rock and roll that starts with the deaths of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and J. P. Richardson, Jr. (The Big Bopper) in a plane crash in 1959, and ends in 1970.

My new bass guitars. Recently purchased two Ibanez bass guitars. I really need to stop, but I fell in love with the SRX500 - I love the honey sunburst pattern.
I also purchased the SRX400 for a few bucks. Nice bass - pretty basic, but I love the sound. And the playability is pretty sweet as well. So if you guys don't see me - I'll be in my music room playing with my new toys.

26 ways to make a girl smile

Saw this in a posting off houstonconnect.com. and felt myself throw up a little in my mouth, but that's probably why i'm still single.

1. Tell her she is beautiful
2. Hold her hand at any moment . . . even if its just for a second.
3. Hug her from behind.
4. Leave her voice messages to wake up to.
5. When she is upset, hold her tight and tell her how much she means to you.
6. Recognize the small things . . . they usually mean the most.
7. If you're talking to another girl, when your done talking, walk over and hug her and kiss her....let her know she's yours and they aren't.
8. Write her notes or call her just to say "hi"
9. Introduce her to your friends . . . as your girlfriend.
10. Play with her hair.
11. Pick her up for a date if you have been dating for a while. (she loves it)
12. Get upset if another guy touches her and she doesn't like it
13. Make her laugh
14. Let her fall asleep in your arms.
15. If she's mad at you, kiss her.
16. If you care about her, then (we all know this is a challenge) TELL HER
17. Every guy should give their girl 3 things: a stuffed animal(she'll hug it every time she goes to sleep), jewlery (will treasure it forever), and one of his t-shirts (she'll most likely where it to bed) and don't forget to bring her flowers or something special once in a while.
18. Treat her the same around your friends as you do when your alone.
19. Look her in the eyes and smile.
20. Hang out with her on weekends (guys, this WILL NOT, i repeat WILL NOT kill you)
21. Kiss her in the rain (girls love this)
22. Kiss her just for the heck of it
23. If your listening to music, let her listen too.
24. Remember her birthday and get her something, even if its simple and inexpensive, it came from YOU. Even a card picked out by you will meanall the world to HER.
25. When she gives you a present on your birthday, Christmas, or just when ever, take it and tell her you love it, even if you don't (it will make her happy.)
26. Always call her when you say you will, it may not seem like it, but it does hurt her and makes her thinks you don't care so call even if you can only talk for a minute.

"when i die, i'm going to haunt you..."

stole this from the onion - thought it was hilarious.

"when i die i'm gonna haunt the fu#k out of you people"
As long as I can remember, my life has been a constant stream of insults, condescension, and humiliation at the hands of you people. Well, I'm sick of it. I may be too cowardly and weak to do anything about it in this lifetime, but I promise I'll have my revenge just the same. After I die, I'm going to come back as the scariest damn ghost you've ever seen, guaranteed—and I'm going to spend my days haunting the fuck out of you all.

My spirit will be locked in limbo, forced to wander between this world and the next until it gets retribution for its tormented past, and I can't fucking wait. Hope you like having your TV unexpectedly turn on and off while you don't even have the remote in your hands, shitheads! There won't be anything you can do about it, either. No one will believe you. They'll just say it's something to do with the old wiring in your house and you'll agree, but you'll know the truth, because it'll be me.

You better hope that I don't die for another 50, 60 years, so I don't start scaring you shitless every single night while you're still young. Unless you want a whole lot of eerie evenings, you better pray I live to be 100.

But you know what? That ain't gonna happen. My frail frame can't hold out against this kind of mistreatment forever. Someday, sooner or later, I'll succumb to your ceaseless upbraidings and die. And then you'll be in for some serious haunting.

"What's that?" you'll say to yourselves, walking to the bathroom in the pitch-dark night. "That noise—is the house settling? Is it the wind?" Yeah, fat chance, assholes! That noise will be me. You'll be consumed with a vague sense of unease until you get back to sleep. Which won't be for at least 15 or 20 minutes, if my ghost has anything to say about it. Oh, yeah, you can count on that.

I'm a pretty fragile guy, you know—I could go any minute. Maybe I'll suffer a particularly bad asthma attack and I'll die tomorrow. Then you'll have to put up with decades of sudden temperature shifts, noises in the attic, and candles that blow out for no reason before you finally succumb to the ravages of old age. You could be looking at half a century or more of thinking you may have seen something out of the corner of your eye.

Once I'm dead, I wouldn't recommend watching any Stephen King movies after 9 p.m. if I were you. The minute your mind starts filling with haunting images, I'm going to be there to exploit the hell out of them. You think those movies are scary? Just wait until you hear all the weird noises and stuff I'm going to conjure up.

If you're ever all alone in some scary place—like a forest or maybe an abandoned cabin of some kind—those creepy-ass faint moans will be mine. You'll be plenty spooked then. Even if you've gone completely bald, you'll still have hair on your arms, and it's going to be standing straight up by the time I'm through with you. And then I'll be all, "Boo, motherfuckers."

I promise you this: You'll eventually come to regret making fun of me when I was still alive.

And don't even get me started on what's going to happen if family members take pictures of you when they visit. Those pictures are going to have some weird discolorations, you can bet on that, and some of them may even contain forms that look sort of like faces. Whose face? Yours truly: Byron, avenging spirit from beyond the grave.

You probably won't even remember me by then. But that won't save you. I'll remember you to my dying day and beyond, and I'll spend my entire afterlife making what remains of your life a living hell.

Laugh while you can, you good-for-nothing sons of bitches, because your autumn years are going to be unsettling as shit.

weekly rant

posted this on another dating forum - now i'll get your responses. names have been withheld to protect the innocent.

my story... the short version.
have a dinner party with a few friends discussing paranormal stuff - ouija boards, tarot cards, ghost hunting techniques. invited a girl i'd been dating for a few months - since december. later in the evening after a couple bottles of wine one of my friends brings out some male playing cards. Me being the kind host I am kindly show the ladies my set of female playing cards as well as my autographed copy of playboy that i'm really proud of. so the night is over - i get a good night kiss and tell her i'll call next week.

next week - no phone calls, or emails returned. are women so freaked out by men reading playboy that she won't return my calls. not that i really care - just curious. one of my other female friends told me something about women having low self-esteem trying to keep up with society's standard of women ala Playboy, etc. So I refuse to date any more women with low self-esteem and that don't like the fact that men do read Playboy magazine.

just my weekly rant

Save the Date

Paranormal Dinner Party - April 21
Unless I change my mind the topic is going to be UFO's / Alien Abductions.

I have two documentaries on UFO's I'm showing. Also will try to get other UFO movies to show. Hopefully Closet Freak will bring the tarot cards and ouija board again.

Paranormal GTG

So my first impromptu paranormal get together was a success. Thinking about having monthly get-togethers / informal parties where the main topic of discussion will be something having to do with the paranormal. What prompted this was a recent ghost hunt that Sahar, Closet, and I went on recently. I thought - we should just have a small get-together and discuss this stuff ourselves. So my idea was born.
My thinking is to get a few of my friends together that have an interest in the paranormal - whether skeptics or not and have a discussion on a topic or topic that night. Maybe bring out a ouija board or have a tarot card reading.

I've been accused of being a 'party pooper' or 'negative energy emitter', but i'm just skeptical. Right going through a major issue / crisis on several topics.
1. the exisitence of God
2. Theory of Evolution vs. Intelligent Design aka Creationism
3. UFO's are they real or just imagination

I'm thinking the next topic will be to discuss God... probably the age old question why does God allow bad things to happen to good people. I have my answer, but it'd be good to have a frank discussion on the topic.

Other topics:
Exorcisms - real or imagined
Jesus Christ - did he really exist
What happens when we die
Flat Earth Theory - yes there is a flat earth society out there
spontaneous combustion
stigmata
the virgin mary (secondary topic... Pareidolia)

more topics to discuss???

The Year without toilet paper

Is this even possible in Houston. One families journey to have zero impact on the environment. Limited electricity, no toilet paper, only eat food within 250 mile radius of Manhattan.

http://noimpactman.typepad.com/blog/

NYtime article: The year without toilet paper

The blog is just launching this balmy February day of 2007—yippee!—but our no impact experiment has been going on for two and half months. So, just a little recap and update to let you know what you need to know to understand what is going on and where we’re at.

No Impact Man is my experiment with researching, developing and adopting a way of life for me and my little family—one wife, one toddler, one dog—to live in the heart of New York City while causing no net environmental impact. To do this, we will decrease the things we do that hurt the earth—make trash, cause carbon dioxide emissions, for example—and increase the things we do that help the earth—clean up the banks of the Hudson River, give money to charity, rescue sea birds, say.

In mathematical terms, in case you are an engineer or just a geek who likes math, we are trying to achieve an equilibrium that looks something like this:

Negative Impact + Positive Impact = Zero.

No net impact. Get it?

We’re taking a year to do this thing (starting the end of November, 2006) and it’s working in stages. Stage one was figuring out how to live without making garbage: no disposable products, no packaging, etc. Stage two was figuring out how to cause the least environmental impact with our food choices. Stage three is figuring out how to reduce our consumption to only what is necessary and how to do that sustainably. The whole thing gets harder and harder as we add each stage.

What will the future stages be? Who knows? I am no eco-expert. I am just a liberal schlub who got sick of not putting my money where my mouth was. In a way, the whole project is a protest against my highly-principled, lowly-actioned former self. I’m fumbling through, trying to do my best and doing the research as I go along. This blog is my attempt to tell you how it’s going.

That's pretty much everything you need to know to understand this blog. But for more details on the design of No Impact Man, the book, the movie and all of that, see the posts on the left hand side under "What's It's All About."

The Panty Closet

So last Saturday it was time to go onto another ghost hunt, this time in Liberty, Texas to view cemetaries and a haunted hotel. So I'm supposed to meet Closet Freak and Sahara at 9 in the morning. So I get up - drive the long 20 miles to Closet Freak's house and arrive at 8:45 (incidentally that's before I even get to work on the weekday). And she's only dressed in her robe, so I wait for her. Once she's dressed I get the honor of being the first to look at her new panty drawer in her closet (pictures coming very soon).
I think this is the first time I've ever seen panties neatly rolled up and sorted by color in a drawer. She has definitely earned the name Closet Freak. But the closet is very neat and tidy - unlike my closet.

89 Rules of Boozing

I won't post all 89 Rules, but I like these:
6. Buying a strange woman a drink is cool, buying all her drinks is dumb.
14. If you offer to buy a woman a drink and she refuses, she does not like you.
15. If you offer to buy a woman a drink and she accepts, she still might not like you.

you don't need to bother

Wish I was too dead to cry
My self-affliction fades
Stones to throw at my creator
Masochists to which I cater

You don't need to bother;
I don't need to be
I'll keep slipping farther
But once I hold on,
I won't let go 'til it bleeds

Wish I was too dead to care
If indeed I cared at all
Never had a voice to protest
So you fed me shit to digest
I wish I had a reason;
my flaws are open season
For this, I gave up trying
One good turn deserves my dying

You don't need to bother;
I don't need to be
I'll keep slipping farther
But once I hold on,
I won't let go 'til it bleeds

Wish I'd died instead of lived
A zombie hides my face
Shell forgotten
with its memories
Diaries left
with cryptic entries

And you don't need to bother;
I don't need to be
I'll keep slipping farther
But once I hold on,
I won't let go 'til it bleeds

You don't need to bother;
I don't need to be
I'll keep slipping farther
But once I hold on
I'll never live down my deceit

New Year's Resolutions

Anybody got any to share?

1) Get in shape
2) Find a girlfriend for the guys or find a boyfriend for the gals
3) Make more money
4) Change jobs
5) Move closer to the loop
